Toolmaker - Plastic Injection Mold

Job Description
We are looking for a Toolmaker to construct, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, jigs, prototypes, and fixtures involving difficult and complex machine operations utilizing a wide variety of manual (grinding, lathing, milling) and CNC machine tools. The tool maker will work from prints, sketches, CAD, etc. You will also be responsible for interpreting the prints of other designers. Our ideal applicant has experience on an EDM, CNC, and other manual machines.
1st Shift 7am-3pm
Wages range from $20-28/hr
Toolmaker Duties and Responsibilities
- Read CAD
- Read blueprints from other designers
- Perform quality checks on your tools
- Perform maintenance on your machines
- Perform machine operations requiring methods to maintain very tight tolerances and fits.
- Set up, program, and operate CNC, EDM, and milling machines
Toolmaker Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Tool and die making experience
- Strong mechanical skills
- Experience with CAD software
- Knowledge of measurement
- Keen eye for detail
- CAD design a plus
